Mark Arvind, M.D. - Internal Medicine

Serving the Triad since 1998

Dr. Mark Arvind received both his Undergraduate degree

and Medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College

in India prior to completing an Internal Medicine Internship

at the University of Minnesota. He also completed numerous

Residency programs around the world in India, North Wales,

the United Kingdom and the United States.

 

Board Certified and a Diplomate in Internal Medicine,

Dr. Arvind maintains memberships with the Indian

Medical Council and the Karnataka Medical Group.

Wayne Beauford, M.D. - Pulmonology

Serving the Triad since 1992

Dr. Wayne Beauford received his Bachelor of Science

degree from Claflin College before attending Meharry

Medical College, where he received his Medical degree.

He continued his education by completing an Internal

Medicine Internship and Residency at Martin Luther King

General Hospital. In addition, Dr. Beauford completed a

Pulmonary Medicine Fellowship at Martin Luther King

General Hospital and a Critical Care Medicine Fellowship

at Long Beach Veteran Administration.

 

A Diplomat of the National Board of Medical Examiners

and the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Beauford

is professionally affiliated with the Old North State Medical

Society, North Carolina Respiratory Care Board, Community

Clinic of High Point (Board Member), Hospice of Piedmont

(Medical Director), High Point Regional Hospital Pulmonary

Rehabilitation (Medical Director) and High Point Regional

Hospital Respiratory Care (Medical Director).

Eric Chuang, M.D., Ph.D. - Cardiologist

Serving the Triad since 2010

Eric Chuang, MD, PhD went to the National Taiwan

University in Taipei, Taiwan as an undergraduate and

was awarded his medical degree by the Louisiana State

University School of Medicine, where he earned his

doctorate in Physiology as well as a certification in

Lipidology. His internship and residency training

were served at the University of California in the

Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

 

Dr. Chuang is North Carolina Board Certified in

Internal Medicine and specializes in Cardiology. His

professional affiliations also include his Fellowship of

American College of Cardiology, Fellowship of the Society

of Cardiovascular - Angiography and Interventions,

as well as Federated Ambulatory Surgery Association.

Aileen E. John, D.O. - Family Medicine

Serving the Triad since 2008

Dr. Aileen John received her Bachelor of Science in

Biochemistry and a Bachelor of Arts degree from

Temple University before attending the Philadelphia

College of Osteopathic Medicine and earning a Doctor

of Osteopathic Medicine degree. She served as Chief

Medical Intern at St. Joseph's Hospital and completed

a Family Medical Residency at Broward Medical Center.

Board Certified by the American Osteopathic Board of

Family Medicine, Dr. John maintains membership with

the American Osteopathic Association.

Raymond J. Oenbrink, D.O. - Family Medicine

Serving the Triad since 2011

Dr. "Rusty" Oenbrink received his Undergraduate degree at

the University of South Florida prior to attending

Nova-Southeastern University of South Broward Medical

School in Hollywood, FL, where he graduated in the first

Charter Class. Afterwards he completed his internship at

Humana Hospital of South Broward and a three year Family

Medicine Residency at the University Hospital of Jacksonville

in Jacksonville, FL.  Dr. Oenbrink is board certified in Family

Medicine and is a member of the American Osteopathic

Association and American Academy of Family Physicians.

 

Dr. Oenbrink brings with him 26 years of experience

practicing Family Medicine in Jupiter, FL.

Priya Paruchuri, M.D. - Internal Medicine

and Sleep Medicine

Serving the Triad since 2010 

Priya Paruchuri, MD, went to the Andhra Medical College

for undergraduate where she was awarded her medical

degree. Her internship and Residency training was

completed at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine.

She went on to complete a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at the

University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her professional

affiliations include the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

 


Lenny J. Peters, M.D., M.R.C.P. - Gastroenterology

Serving the Triad since 1987

Dr. Lenny Peters, President and CEO of Bethany Medical, 

received his Medical degree from Baptist Hospital,

Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University.

He completed a two-year fellowship in Gastroenterology and

a three year internal medicine residency program. Dr. Peters

 founded the Bethany practice in 1987 and has since expanded

it into a multi-specialty group including a state of the art

endoscopy center. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology

and Internal Medicine. He also serves on the Medical Staff at High Point Regional.

 

Karla R. Smith, M.D. - Family Medicine

Serving the Triad since 2002

Dr. Karla Smith received her Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry

from Hampton University in Virginia. She received her

medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at the

University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She

completed residency at VCU-Riverside Family Medicine

Program in Newport News, Virginia.

Dr. Smith is board certified by the American Board of

Family Medicine and is a member of the American

Academy of Family Physicians.

Cheryl A. Vernon, M.D. -

Family Medicine 

Serving the Triad since 2012 

Dr. Vernon received her undergraduate degree in

Chemistry from High Point University and earned her

Doctorate of Medicine at Wake Forest University in

Winston-Salem, NC. She completed her residency at Wake

Forest University Baptist Medical Center.


Dr. Vernon brings with her 25 years of experience

practicing medicine. Dr. Vernon is board certified by the

American Board of Family Medicine.

Don K. Bulla, PA-C, RPh. - Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology

Serving the Triad since 1988

Following his undergraduate studies in Pharmaceuticals

at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill,

Don Bulla completed the Physician Assistance Program

at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. Licensed

by the North Carolina Medical Board and North Carolina

Pharmacy Board, he is certified by the National

Commissions for Certification for Physician Assistants.

Michael Duran, PA-C - Internal Medicine and Cardiology

Serving the Triad since 1982

Michael Duran received his ADS in Respiratory Therapy

from Manchester Community College before attending

Hahnemann Medical University, where he received his

Bachelor of Science degree as a Physician Assistant.

Certified by National Board of Medical Examiners,

Michael Duran is highly skilled to provide you with

the highest standard of care. He maintains professional

affiliations with the North Carolina Medical Society,

American Association of Physician Assistants, Fellowship

of Christian Physician Assistants and the Guilford County

Physician Extenders just to name a few.

Amanda Taylor, PA-C – Internal Medicine

& Gastroenterology

Serving the Triad since 2004

Amanda Taylor attended High Point University for a

B.S. in Biology before attending the University of North

Carolina, Greensboro, where she received a Master of

Public Health Education. She continued at Wake Forest

University School of Medicine, where she completed the

Physicians Assistant Program. Certified as a Physician

Assistant by the National Commission, Amanda Taylor

maintains membership with the American Academy of

Physician Assistants, North Carolina Academy of Physician

Assistants and Guilford Physician Extenders.

Patrick Watterson, PA-C Internal

and Sports Medicine

Serving the Triad since 1995

Patrick Watterson completed his Physician Assistant

Studies at the University of Kentucky. He is Certified

by the National Commission of Certification of Physician

Assistants and the National Athletic Trainers Association,

and maintains memberships with the American Academy

of Physician Assistants, National Carolina Academy of

Physician Assistants and the American College of

Environmental and Occupational Medicine.

Greta O'Buch, PA-C – Medical Spa Director

Serving the Triad since 2003

Greta O'Buch graduated from North Carolina University

with a Bachelor of Science degree before attending

Arcadia University, where she completed the Physician

Assistants program. Certified by the National Commission

of Certification of Physician Assistants, she maintains

memberships with the American Academy of Physicians

Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician

Assistants.

Cindy Vertefeuille, ANP-C - Internal Medicine

Serving the Triad since 2002

Cindy Vertefeuille received her Bachelor of Science in

Nursing and her Nurse Practitioner degrees from the

University of North Carolina, Greensboro. She is a Certified

Adult Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the North Carolina

Medical Board.
